Welcome to the BJDW Community: Your Journey to Sobriety, Faith, and Freedom

Welcome to the BJDW Community, where the power of sobriety meets the strength of faith, forming an extraordinary community of women ready to support and inspire you on your journey to becoming the woman God intended you to be.

Our Mission:

Our mission is not merely about abstaining from alcohol; it's about deepening our relationship with Jesus, renewing our minds, and breaking free from the chains that held us back. As Romans 12:2 reminds us, we are to be "transformed by the renewing of our mind," and this is the cornerstone of our journey.

Who We Are:

The BJDW Community is a haven, open to Christian and Christian-curious women at all stages of their spiritual journey. Whether you are a seasoned believer or just starting to explore your faith, whether you've walked the alcohol-free path for years or are taking your first steps toward sobriety, you have found your home. We warmly welcome both the sober-curious and the Jesus-curious, offering a nurturing environment where you can connect, share, and thrive.

Community Engagement Guidelines:

In order to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone, our guidelines and rules are explained below.

First, we believe that your vulnerability, engagement, and how you show up in this community is a gift to yourself and others. So, we encourage you to show up for others and for yourself. Remember, we're all here to support each other.

If you see someone who is still struggling, please pay it forward and show up for them. And, if you want to share advice or your own experiences, please do so from a place of empathy and compassion. We believe in radical grace, kindness, and compassion.

We want to remind you that this community is made up of people from many different backgrounds and opinions. So, let's stay curious without judgment. If you do see something that goes against our guidelines, please report it and let us take care of it.

Our goal is to maintain a safe environment for everyone in this community. We're here to be supportive, so please be kind and respectful in every interaction. No selling, recruiting, or self-promotion is allowed. And, please don't share anything that identifies another member.

We want to stay focused on our core purpose, which is to provide a safe and supportive space for our community to connect with like-minded, like-hearted women by engaging in conversations about all things related and not limited to sobriety, faith and freedom. To do that, we encourage you to focus on positive interactions and to report any behavior that goes against our guidelines.

Additionally, we ask that you refrain from cussing, arguing or discussing politics and self-harm. Our goal is to create a supportive environment, and these topics can be divisive and triggering for some members.

If you or someone you know needs help with self-harm, please seek assistance from emergency services in your country. Our community is here to support you, but we are not a substitute for professional help in these situations.

We want to emphasize that the But Jesus Drank Wine Community operates under the complete discretion of our community coaches and leaders. While we strive to maintain an inclusive and supportive environment, we reserve the right to remove any community member at our sole discretion, ensuring the safety and integrity of our space for all participants. Your participation in this community signifies your agreement to adhere to our guidelines and respect the decisions made by our leadership team. Thank you for understanding and cooperating as we endeavor to foster a nurturing environment for everyone on their journey of faith, sobriety, and personal growth.

Finally, the But Jesus Drank Wine Community is not a coaching group. By participating  as a member of the BJDW Community you understand and acknowledge that coaching services will not be provided by Meade Holland Shirley, Christy Osborne, and/or any guest speakers/coaches on (and not limited to) the zoom calls or within the online community space.
